GVA Oxford Represents Pioneer Supply in Purchase of New Facility

GVA Oxford, Western Pennsylvania’s leading provider of commercial real estate services, would like to announce the sale of 1710 North Franklin Street, a 47,000 sq. ft. warehouse building on Pittsburgh’s North Side for $2.2 million ($46.81/sq.ft.).  Edward P. Doran and Joseph Tosi of GVA Oxford represented the buyer, Pioneer Supply Company, the largest distributor of supplies, materials, and tools for sign makers and screen printers in the Tri-State Area.  TRACO, the former tenant and owner of the building, has moved to their new headquarters in Cranberry Township.

Pioneer Supply Company will occupy 40,000 sq. ft. of the building and has hired GVA Oxford to lease the remaining 7,000 sq. ft. of office space on the second floor.  1710 North Franklin sits on 1.9 acres and has great access to Downtown Pittsburgh, Route 65, Route 28, I-279 and I-79. Pioneer will be relocating from a facility at 1840 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.

With the upcoming relocation to a new, larger warehouse and office facility located at 1410 North Franklin Street, Pioneer will be positioned to better service customers throughout current sales areas and beyond.  The new facility will be the central distribution point for all current branch locations as well as future locations.
